What Is HPLC Testing?
HPLC stands for High-Performance Liquid Chromatography, an analytical technique used to separate, identify and measure compounds within a sample.
In cannabinoid testing, HPLC allows us to analyse the cannabinoid profile of hemp and cannabis samples, including compounds such as CBD, THC, CBG and their acidic forms.
Unlike some other analytical techniques, HPLC can measure acidic cannabinoids without requiring the high temperatures associated with gas chromatography. This provides valuable information about the composition of plant material, extracts and finished products.
